The education and public sector arm of Pretty Lux Co. We build cosmetic science and STEM curriculum for K through 12 districts, colleges, and workforce programs, taught from a working formulation lab rather than a textbook.
Why this works
Students who say they hate chemistry will do chemistry.
Ask a room of fifteen year olds to balance an equation and you lose most of them. Hand the same room an emulsion that separated and ask why, and they will argue about it for forty minutes.
Cosmetic science carries real chemistry, measurement, ratio, and quality control inside something students already use every day. The content is not softened. The entry point is.
Every program is taught by people who formulate for a living, using the same protocols we manufacture with.

What we run.
The Formulation Files
A multi week afterschool curriculum where students run a formulation lab from first trial to finished product. They measure, document, fail, adjust, and defend their results the way a chemist does.
Lab Residencies
We bring the bench into the classroom for a single day or a full unit. Students work with real materials under real protocols, and teachers leave with the lesson plan and the materials list.
Cosmetic Science Pathway
A course sequence and lab framework for colleges building a cosmetic science offering, plus guest instruction and a for credit internship at our formulation house so students graduate with bench hours rather than only credits.
Production Certification
Short cycle training for adults moving into cosmetic manufacturing and quality roles. Covers good manufacturing practice, measurement, documentation, batch records, and the regulatory basics the job actually requires.
Instructor Training
Professional development for the teachers who will run these labs after we leave. They learn the chemistry, the safety protocols, and how to source materials on a school budget.

Anikitia built LuxChem Academy because the cosmetic industry recruits chemists it never taught, and the students most likely to love this work rarely meet it before college.
She writes the curriculum, trains the instructors, and teaches from the same bench where Pretty Lux Co. formulations are developed. Programs are designed around what a working lab actually requires, not around what is easy to grade.

You send the form
Enough detail that we can answer without a discovery call. If we are not the right fit, we will say so in the reply rather than book a meeting to tell you.
We send scope and cost
A written scope with session counts, participant caps, materials, and a firm price. Written so it can be pasted into a grant narrative or a board packet.
We hold your dates
Once you confirm, dates are held and the paperwork starts. Instructors are cleared and materials ordered before the first session, not during it.
